    Volcano Visit: Mt Eden Summit (Auckland)

    There are about 48 volcanic peaks in Auckland which we could explore and Mt Eden Summit was one of which we must visit while we’re there. Driving all the way up to the 196 metres high summit, the 360 degrees view of Auckland city turned out to be a spectacular sight. Hikers, joggers and cyclists are also seen scaling this hill and enjoying the view at the peak.

    Surfing: Piha Beach (Auckland)

    Piha beach is 45 minutes west of Auckland and it is considered to be one of Auckland’s most adventurous playgrounds for keen surfers, trampers and beach lovers!

    Sunset Dinner On A Boat

    Auckland is known as the city of sails with hundreds of boats parked and arranged nicely on its’ waterfront facing the South Pacific Ocean. You can take a boat out (there are tour packages) and have dinner with other passengers. You also have a chance to learn how to use steer the boat along the way.

    Volcano Visit: One Tree Hill (Auckland)

    One Tree Hill is one of Auckland’s largest and most culturally significant volcanoes with the highest point topped with a single pine tree (replacing the original native Totara), a monument, and the grave of Sir John Logan Campbell, the ‘founding father’ of Auckland City.
